Travel Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight meet your tour leader for welcome drinks and a tour briefing.

One night MAISON D’HANOI HANOVA HOTEL

Day 2 – Hanoi

Today you will overnight on Halong Bay on a boat and see stunning views of this natural wonder.

One night OVERNIGHT BOAT

Day 3 – Hanoi to Halong Bay

Disembark the boat this afternoon and drive to Hanoi. Tonight you will enjoy and be entertained by an evening Water Puppets show.

Day 4 – Hanoi to Hue

See historic Ba Dinh Square, the peaceful Temple of Literature, the infamous Hanoi Hilton Prison and take a fascinating cyclo ride through the Old Quarter before boarding the Reunification Express this evening for your journey south to Hue.

One night OVERNIGHT TRAIN

Day 5 – Hue

Encounter the ancient imperial capital’s tombs, the old Citadel and journey by boat along the Perfume River before tonight’s sumptuous Imperial Dinner.

Day 6 – Hue to Hoi An

Drive south along the dramatic coastal road, at Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. Enjoy the architecture, local delicacies and friendly locals that make Hoi An a true Vietnam highlight.

Two nights HOI AN TRAILS RESORT

Day 7 – Hoi An

Interact with local fisherman and learn traditional fishing techniques. You may also like to take part in a fun, optional cooking demonstration.

Day 8 – Hoi An to Saigon

Fly to Saigon and see the sights of old and new Saigon in the central ‘French quarter’, the bustling market streets and old temples of Saigon’s ‘Chinatown’.

Day 9 – Saigon to Vinh Long

Explore the Mekong Delta’s canals, orchards and towns by boat before heading to a Mekong village to stay in a local home with a friendly family.

One night VINH LONG HOMESTAY

Day 10 – Vinh Long to Saigon

Today we return back to Saigon for 2 nights.

Day 11 – Saigon & Cu Chi

Visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels.

Day 12 – Depart Saigon

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
